Aster Gato #3

This painting was part of an explorative series of cat portraits created to practice cat anatomy and test a non-toxic gouache paint and varnish. This gato is out of this world compared to their buddies; it resembles the Aster flowers, and throughout the painting process, I became aware that they are extraterrestrial and wanted to live among the flowers of the earth. Although imperfect, these paintings are still lovable, and I hope they bring cuteness to your world as they did for me.
