Orange Snowball Gato #1

This painting was part of an explorative series of cat portraits created to practice cat anatomy and test a non-toxic gouache paint and varnish. The result is a cute cat inspired by the Orange Snowball Cactus; however, it also shows the difficulties of working with water-soluble paint and varnish that will not dry fully transparently. Although imperfect, these paintings are still lovable, and I hope they bring cuteness to your world as they did for me (with less stress since you didn’t have to paint them).

*This painting has traces of varnish that did not dry fully transparent on the sides, but it does not affect the look of the cat.
